For the fifth time in it's history, Yardley CC wins the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s 87th Team Championship Thursday at a hot and humid White Clay Creek CC (par 72, 6,732 yards).

After the morning round of foursomes and afternoon singles matches, Yardley CC’s Glenn Smeraglio, Mark Miller, Chris Ault, Gary Roberts, Paul Rogowicz, Ed Erickson, Steve Arnold and Al Padovano took the Championship with 27 points.
Cavaliers CC finished in second with 19 points, while Whitford CC and Spring Ford CC rounded out the last two spots with 14.5 and 11.5 points respectively.
The finals consisted of eight-man teams playing an alternate shot format in the morning, with singles matches in the afternoon.
