Compher Cup postponed due to weatherThe Compher Cup, the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s annual matches with the New Jersey State Golf Association, was postponed on Wednesday, April 27, due to inclement weather.The area was deluged with heavy rains as well as lightning and thunder around 4 p.m. with all six matches still in progress. A rescheduling date has not been set. The Compher Cup has run concurrently for 43 years since 1962 without a cancellation.
