Caddie Training Day announced for Philmont CCWe are pleased to announce that the Golf Association of Philadelphia and the Platt Caddie Scholarship will be hosting the second annual Caddie Training Day for children in the local communities. (Preferably kids ages 13 and up.) It will take place on Wednesday, June 28 at Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.We cordially invite all junior golfers to participate in the day and learn the basic techniques of caddying. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.; training will begin at 10 a.m. and the GAP will provide lunch immediately follow the training at approximately 11:30 a.m. Some of the areas that will be covered include Etiquette, Raking Bunkers, Fore Caddying, On the Tee and On the Green.
