Caddie Training Day set for Aug. 3 at Rolling Green GCThe Golf Association of Philadelphia and Platt Caddie Scholarship are pleased to announce the 3rd annual Caddie Training Day for children in the local communities. (Preferably ages 13 and up.) The Caddie Training Day will take place on Friday, Aug. 3 at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield (Delco), Pa.We cordially invite junior golfers to participate in the day and learn the basic techniques of caddying. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., training starts at 10 a.m. and GAP will provide lunch immediately following the training at approximately 11:15 a.m. Some of the areas that will be covered include Etiquette, Raking Bunkers, Fore Caddying, On the Tee and On the Green.
