A Walk Through Time

GAP is the oldest state or regional golf association in the country. It started courtesy of a friendly competition – the Team Matches – and has grown into the preeminent golf association in the country. Along the way, golf history has been made.


Association's You Tube channel features 2009 season videos

  Videos from the 2009 season can now be viewed on the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s You Tube Channel.

  The Association has uploaded videos from the Middle-Amateur Championship, Amateur Championship, Open Championship, Joseph H. Patterson Cup and Senior Amateur Championship as well as a year-in-review highlight video.   YouTube is a video-sharing Web site where users can upload, view and share video clips. The San Bruno, Calif.-based service uses Adobe Flash technology to display a wide variety of video content, including movie clips, TV clips and music videos, as well as amateur content such as videoblogging and short original videos.
