LedgeRock goes above and beyond at Caddie Tournament

The Golf Association of Philadelphia recognizes LedgeRock GC for its efforts in Monday’s 63rd Caddie Tournament.

â€śThe club was committed to the event,” Kirby Martin, Director of Competitions, said.

Ten LedgeRock GC members volunteered their time. They provided automotive transportation for players from No. 2 to 3, No. 11 to 12 and No. 17 to 18.

â€śWe kind of have a hilly golf course,” Club Manager Peter Kowalinski said. “I thought it’d be prudent that get some shuttlers to kind of alleviate the walk.”

Seven staff members also lent a hand at the event, with a few doing so “off-the-clock.”

â€śWe all donated our time for that day. We kind of look at it as giving our time to charity,” Kowalinski said.

LedgeRock GC was happy to host this year’s Caddie Tournament.

â€śI know a lot of those guys from playing. It was nice to have them here,” Kowalinski said.
