Winter Series schedule dates, formats released

  The 2010 spring edition of the Golf Association of Philadelphia Winter Series has been set and on-line registration is now open. The Winter Series was created to offer all players of any skill level an opportunity to compete in tournament golf during the normally quiet, off-season months. Dates are as follows (weather permitting):

2010 Winter Series Spring Schedule

  • • March 4, 11 a.m., Yardley CC (Individual Stableford)
  • • March 11, 10 a.m., Radley Run CC (Match Play vs. Par)
  • • March 18, 11 a.m., Blue Bell CC (Two-Man Scramble)
  • • March 25, 9 a.m., Galloway National GC (Better-Ball of Partners)
  Cost is $35 per person per event. Entrants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Field size is dependent on host club availability, and will be open to all Golf Association of Philadelphia Members, ages 18 years of age and older, Philadelphia Section of PGA Members and Golf Professionals at Member Clubs.
