Handicap score posting for Philadelphia region ended on Oct. 31A reminder, the posting of scores from courses in the Philadelphia region ended Monday, Oct. 31. After that date, only scores from areas with year-round active seasons are eligible to be posted to your handicap record. The Golf Association of Philadelphia will resume active score posting at the start of our next season, April 1, 2012.States that observe year-round active posting include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. A round played in one of those states is eligible for posting to a player’s handicap record, no matter the date of play. The Golf Association of Philadelphia will be revising handicaps eight times during the offseason, to incorporate any scores posted from other areas. The dates for these revisions are Dec. 1, Dec. 15, Jan. 1, Jan. 15, Feb. 1, Feb. 15, March 1 and March 15.
