Presidents' Council registration open

The 7th annual Presidents' Council seminar and luncheon is set for 8 a.m. on March 23 at Waynesborough Country Club. The highly successful event was designed to educate key personnel from Member Clubs and to examine hot button topics and issues affecting every club in the organization.

Once again, the Association has secured nationally renowned speakers to touch on the important issues facing the golf business today.

“Traits of Top Performers”
Henry Delozier, Principal/Partner, Golf Global Advisors
What factors make the top performing clubs different from the many others? In these challenging times that reward mastery and that punish poor performance, Henry DeLozier of Global Golf Advisors will describe the performance indicators that separate the top performers from the pack. Plan to receive five actions that you can take immediately to improve the performance of your club.”

“The Economics of Club Improvements”
Larry Hirsh, president of Golf Property Analysts will discuss “the issue of renovations to your clubs from the economic and market perspective and will present an actual case study on the logistical, emotional and economic issues of a renovation project where expansion of a practice area was a primary issue. Obvious and not so obvious costs will be explored and how the potential benefits of the renovation will impact a club will be analyzed. There will be time for Q & A.”

“Creating 5-Star Customer Service”
Cary Cavitt, Customer Service Consultant, Principal of Smile Seminars
“Golf Facilities with the best customer service teams always have great people skills. These 5-star teams understand that it's the attitude behind the service that makes all the difference in how others view the service being provided. Develop a team with great attitudes and great service will always follow.”

All Golf Association of Philadelphia Member Club Presidents, Club Managers, Superintendents and Club Officials are invited to attend.

The registration fee is $75 per person and includes lunch.
