GAP is the oldest state or regional golf association in the country. It started courtesy of a friendly competition – the Team Matches – and has grown into the preeminent golf association in the country. Along the way, golf history has been made.

to lower scores in 2012, beyond

  The Golf Association of Philadelphia is the oldest regional or state Golf Association in the United States. Its Member Clubs and 50,000-plus Members are spread across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The Golf Association of Philadelphia was founded in 1897 by members of Aronimink Golf Club, Merion Cricket Club, Philadelphia Country Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club.
