A Walk Through Time

GAP is the oldest state or regional golf association in the country. It started courtesy of a friendly competition – the Team Matches – and has grown into the preeminent golf association in the country. Along the way, golf history has been made.

Whitemarsh Valley to host 24th Senior Challenges Matches

  The Golf Association of Philadelphia will compete in the 24th Senior Challenge Matches Oct. 2 at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.

  Below are player profiles of the GAP squad.

  The Senior Challenge Matches feature eight seniors from four associations, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Philadelphia, competing in the stroke play event.

  The top six scores from each association count in the final total. The Maryland State Golf Association won last year's event at Wilmington Country Club (South)with an overall score of 460.
