Picture yourself playing golf on a beautiful course that you never experienced before, joined by three of your friends. That image is emblematic of GAP Member Play Days.

Registration opens Monday, Feb. 3. To sign up, all participants must first complete an entry form.

A lottery system then determines the final entrants for GAP Member Play Days. After the entry deadline closes, registrants are notified via e-mail to secure his/her position(s) with payment via My GAP Locker. Each selected participant has 48 hours to claim his/her spot(s). A GAP Member Play Day participant may request positions for up to four people.

GAP Member Play Days are open to all amateur (male/female/juniors over the age of 14) Golf Association of Philadelphia individual members with a valid GAP/USGA Handicap. Each participant will have an opportunity to play in an event that awards prizes in various flights.

A net Stableford scoring system is used. Points are awarded for each hole based on a score relative to par. In a Stableford system event, once you have met your net limit, you can pick up, so there is no pressure to complete every hole.

Founded in 1897, the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) is the oldest regional golf association in the United States and serves as the principal ruling body of amateur golf in its region. Its 147 Member Clubs and 55,000 individual members are spread across parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. As Philadelphia’s Most Trusted Source of Golf Information, the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the game of golf.
