Winter’s impact on golf courses center of USGA webinarThe USGA will conduct a live webinar on March 14 at 1 p.m. to address the severe winter weather that’s affected golf courses throughout the region. During the panel-style presentation, agronomists from the USGA’s Mid-Atlantic, Mid-Continent, North-Central, Northeast and Southeast Regions will offer suggestions to help golf facilities cope with winter injury concerns and what can be done now. Emphasis will be placed on addressing golfer concerns as courses transition to spring operations. Audience participation is encouraged.
