Winter Series event at Honeybrook rescheduled for March 25The Golf Association of Philadelphia rescheduled its Winter Series event at Honeybrook Golf Club due to unplayable course conditions. It will take place Tuesday, March 25. Those who registered for the event received notification via e-mail regarding the change. A refund will be issued to participants who will be unable to play on the rescheduled date. Registration for the Honeybrook event is open on the Association’s Web site. It features a better-ball of partners format and an 11 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $40 per person per event, plus a $35 cart fee per event. Entrants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Winter Series is open to all Golf Association of Philadelphia Amateur Members 18 years of age and older, Philadelphia Section of PGA Members and golf professionals at Member Clubs. Launched in 2008, the Winter Series offers all players of any skill level an opportunity to compete in tournament golf during the normally quiet, off-season months.
