GAP App 2.0 update readyThe GAP App 2.0 is now available. This new version of the Golf Association of Philadelphia Mobile Application features a series of enhancements designed to make the experience better for the GAP Member. Features include full scoring results of the BMW GAP Team Matches, as well as the Playoff & Challenge Matches, plus mobile access to the popular Scouting Report feature. In addition, players can now set Favorite Courses, and when posting a score, can select from those Favorite Courses to expedite the score posting process. The user can also enter friends via the “Partners” module, so when starting a round of golf, the players can all be compared and handicaps can be quickly calculated. Also, results for the Senior Club Team Challenge, which debuted in 2014, will be available for this year’s edition of that event in October. The other popular features that have been improved from the initial release of the app are the Event Schedule, Club Directory and GAP News. To download the GAP App 2.0, just search the App Store or Google Play for “gapgolf.”

GAP is the oldest state or regional golf association in the country. It started courtesy of a friendly competition – the Team Matches – and has grown into the preeminent golf association in the country. Along the way, golf history has been made.
