Patriot Golf Day set for Labor Day weekend

The ninth annual Patriot Golf Day will be held across more than 5,500 golf facilities nationwide Sept. 4-7.

During this time, golfers are asked to donate $1 for each round of golf to the Folds of Honor Foundation — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides scholarships for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed in service to their country. In addition, participants are encouraged to share their Patriot Golf Day experiences by using the hashtag #patriotgolfday.

The Folds of Honor Foundation has awarded more than 10,000 educational scholarships to the families of fallen and wounded military heroes. The donations received through Patriot Golf Day events, coupled with partner support, have amounted to more than $5.5 million.

Donations can also be made at www.foldsofhonor.org/donate.
