Player's Dinner recognizes 2015 Champions

  The Golf Association of Philadelphia formally acknowledged its 2015 tournament winners during the organization’s 11th Player’s Dinner at Merion Golf Club.

  The event featured an awards presentation and Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The 2015 Players of the Year — Aronimink Golf Club’s Max Siegfried (Junior), White Manor Country Club’s Don Donatoni (Super Senior), LedgeRock Golf Club’s Chip Lutz (Senior) and Huntingdon Valley Country Club’s Jeffrey Osberg (William Hyndman, III) — received their respective awards.

  James McHale, Jr. of Aronimnk, a two-time Golf Association of Philadelphia Major winner, a six-time U.S. Open and 12-time U.S. Amateur contestant, became the 12th individual to enter the Association’s Hall of Fame.

  Teams from Philadelphia Cricket Club were also recognized for their victories in the BMW GAP Team Matches and Philadelphia Team Championship.

  All Silver Cross Award victors; the Harry Hammond Award winner; the Junior Sportsperson of the Year and Winter Series Players of the Year were all recognized.
