Volunteers help the Association fulfill its purpose: to preserve, protect and promote the game of golf.

Season prep continues with Volunteer Training Days

  Before its 2015 tournament season begins, the Golf Association of Philadelphia will offer three Volunteer Training Days. Each will cover changes for the upcoming tournament season, responsibilities of different volunteer positions, the rules of golf, pace of play policies and more.

  Volunteers are required to be available for one of the training days listed below:

  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes a complimentary continental breakfast. The seminar portion runs from 9 a.m. to noon, with a complimentary buffet lunch to follow. Training for the Rules Committee will not be held during Volunteer Training Days.
