College Golf Seminar set for Nov. 12 at PlymouthRegistration is open for the Golf Association of Philadelphia's 9th College Golf Seminar, set for Saturday, Nov. 12 at Plymouth Country Club from 9 a.m. to noon.
Topics to be covered include résumés, scholarships, NCAA requirements, recruitment and a college golfer's schedule. This free event is open to all high school age golfers, male or female. Featured speakers include Aurora Kan, a recent graduate of Purdue University and former member of the Boilermakers' women's golf team; Steve Oh, former men's and women's coach at Columbia University; and Claire Sheldon, founder of Prospective Student-Athlete College Counseling and a former player and assistant coach at Harvard University. The Association's College Golf Seminar is an educational resource for high school student-athletes pursuing golf at the collegiate level. It is held in alternating years each fall.
