GAPTV picks The Jost Project for Middle-Amateur coverageGAPTV selects the music of The Jost Project, a Philadelphia-based jazz band, to be featured in its coverage of the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s 33rd Middle-Amateur Championship. The event, presented by Callaway Golf, will take place May 25-26 at Waynesborough Country Club. “We’re looking to connect our organization and its distinguished history with the region’s rich musical scene. Highlighting local artists such as The Jost Project in our videos is a surefire way to do so,” Tony Regina, GAP Assistant Communications Director, said. The Jost Project is a band devoted to reaching new audiences for jazz with innovative arrangements of music by artists such as The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Blind Faith and more. It is made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/arranger/harmonicist Paul Jost and bassist Kevin MacConnell with various guest drummers. In addition to performing in Philadelphia and New York, The Jost Project has toured in South Korea and Ireland. Their album “Can’t Find My Way Home” is played regularly on the Real Jazz station on Sirius XM radio. For more information on The Jost Project, visit www.thejostproject.com.
