The authentic Donald Ross-design offers everything the casual golfer loves to enjoy: a playable, challenging and fair round.
Rolling Green Golf Club (June 27)
Designed by William Flynn and Howard Toomey on its 157-acre property in 1925, Rolling Green’s gorgeous putting surfaces fit the club’s name perfectly. Schuylkill Country Club (Aug. 1)
In the mid 1940s, the renowned architect Donald Ross was hired to design nine new holes and redesign the original nine holes at Schuylkill. The result? Eighteen excellent golf holes that will play differently every time due to the traditional Ross-style greens.
Huntingdon Valley Country Club (Aug. 22)
Huntingdon Valley, a product of William Flynn, has been one of the premier tracks in the Philadelphia region since 1897, and will once again offer all of its glory during this year’s Member Play Day. Huntingdon Valley will play host to the Joseph H. Patterson Cup this August.

Fieldstone Golf Club (Oct. 17)
Nestled on 184 acres in Northern Delaware, Fieldstone presents dramatic elevation changes, bent fairways and old-world style bunkers. Hand-laid rock walls wind through the property and add to the course’s unique identity.
To sign up for a GAP Member Play Day event, all participants must first complete the lottery entry form.
A lottery system determines entrants for GAP Member Play Days. All lotteries close on a Sunday. Drawings will be held Monday mornings, with winners notified via e-mail during business hours. Each selected winner then has 48 hours to accept or decline his or her spot(s) via My GAP Locker. A GAP Member Play Day participant may request positions for up to four people.
GAP Member Play Days are open to all amateur (male/female/juniors ages 14 and older) Golf Association of Philadelphia individual members with a valid GAP/USGA Handicap. Each participant can play in an event that awards prizes in various flights.
A net Stableford scoring system is used. Points are awarded for each hole based on a score relative to par. In a Stableford system event, once you meet your net limit, you can pick up, so there is no pressure to complete every hole. Each Member Play Day event features a shotgun start.
