More female volunteers needed for course rating service

The Golf Association of Philadelphia seeks more women to join its course rating volunteer base in 2018.

The organization will field eight female-oriented teams to conduct ratings in the GAP region, including Central and Northeast Pennsylvania. Each course requires a full day’s commitment from the assigned volunteer team. Course ratings allow any player with a valid GAP/GHIN Handicap Index to fairly compete against any other player with a GAP/GHIN Handicap Index.

Any female interested in becoming a course rating volunteer can complete the required form or contact John Manos, the Association’s Director of Course Rating, at jmanos@gapgolf.org.
