PREVIEW: 29th Senior Challenge MatchesA neighborly event heads to the city of neighborhoods Oct. 12.
Baltimore Country Club, one of the oldest venues in the nation, is scheduled to host the 29th Senior Challenge Matches — an event featuring the Golf Association of Philadelphia, Delaware State Golf Association, Maryland State Golf Association and New Jersey State Golf Association. Eight seniors representing each of the aforementioned organizations compete in 18 holes of stroke play. The top six scores from each count toward the team total. The Golf Association of Philadelphia seeks a third straight title. It earned a staggering 32-stroke victory a year ago at Lehigh Country Club, site of the recent Senior Amateur Championship. The Association holds 15 titles overall. A healthy mix of Senior Division rookies and veterans will represent Team GAP at Baltimore. Below is a look at the full roster.
