The Winter Series event scheduled for March 24 at Yardley Country Club is cancelled.

UPDATE: Winter Series event at Yardley cancelled

  The Winter Series event scheduled for March 24 at Yardley Country Club is postponed due to unplayable course conditions as a result of last week's Nor’easter. It will not be rescheduled.

  Other events on the spring slate include Medford Village Country Club (March 22), Sea Oaks Golf Club (March 29) and Penn Oaks Golf Club (April 3). Each features an individual stableford scoring format.

  The Winter Series is open to all Golf Association of Philadelphia Amateur Members 18 years of age and older, Philadelphia Section of PGA Members and golf professionals at Member Clubs. It began in 2008 as a way to offer players of any skill level an opportunity to compete in tournament golf during the normally quiet, offseason months.
