Winter Series registration opens; five events on fall slate

  Spoiler alert: The Winter Soldier disintegrates in the blockbuster film “Avengers: Infinity War.” That shouldn’t disintegrate your desire to soldier on the golf course this winter.

  After all, the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s Winter Series is upon us. Registration for the fall slate opens Sept. 17.

  Cost is $40 per person per event, plus a $35 cart fee per event. Entrants are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Listed below is the upcoming Winter Series schedule.

  The Winter Series is open to all male and female members of GAP Member Clubs, as well as members of the Philadelphia Section PGA and professionals at GAP Member Clubs. All players must be 18 years of age or older. The Winter Series began in 2008 as a way to offer players of any skill level an opportunity to compete in tournament golf during the normally quiet, offseason months.
