36-hole individual gross stroke play, two day event. With a cut after the first day to the low 60 and ties.
The field will consist of professionals who are active members of the Philadelphia Section PGA in good standing (the A-4 classification is not eligible), Head Professionals of GAP Member Clubs, Assistant Professionals of member clubs who are active members of the New Jersey Section PGA and amateurs who are members of member clubs and have handicap index of 7.0 or less.       ROUNDS min: 10     HCP INDEX min: -6  max: 7  
All players who wish to compete in the Open Championship on July 17-18, 2019 at Huntingdon Valley Club and are not exempt under the Qualifying Exemptions must qualify at one of the three qualifiers.

The field of approximately 132 players will consist of exempt players entered and those who have earned a qualifying position at one of the three qualifiers
Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are available July 9, 11 and 16 anytime and July 10 after 2 p.m. Please call 215-659-1584, no more than five days in advance, to schedule a practice round. The practice round fee is $70 and players must take a cart or caddie. The cart fee is $35 plus tax and the caddie fee is $45 plus gratuity. Payments may be made via Cash, Credit Card or Reciprocal Charge.

Starting Times
Normally beginning at 7 a.m. on nine minute intervals.
Automotive transportation is NOT permitted in this event.  
Amateurs: 1st thru 5th low gross. Professionals: guaranteed purse of $30,000.
Four-hole play-off for Championship. Duplicate prizes for ties for 1st low amateur or 2nd low amateur, prize money to be broken by using the USGA recommended scorecard tiebreaking method. Professional money prizes to be split.
