USGA Tournament Management Training Sessions

The Golf Association of Philadelphia is pleased to be once again be able to offer a training seminar this year for clubs to learn about the USGA Tournament Management system, powered by Golf Genius.

You’re invited to join us on Monday, March 18, at Blue Bell Country Club to learn all about the program. A morning session will be geared towards beginners and novice users of the program, with the afternoon session tailored to advanced users. Lunch will be offered free of charge in between to attendees of either session. You may also choose to attend both the morning and afternoon sessions. There is no cost to attend.

The morning session will cover topics like the basics of creating an event, setting up multiple tournaments within an event, creating a league and best practices for outings.

The afternoon session will focus on more detailed topics like custom reporting tools (scorecards, starter’s lists, scoresheets), the event portal and other things that are new to the program for existing users.

Here’s the itinerary for the day:

12:30 p.m. - Session  2 - Advanced Users

For any attendees who are PGA members, we will be offering MSR credits for attendance. There is no cost to join us for the seminar. We encourage all attendees to bring a laptop as there will be hands on instruction throughout as well as times to follow along on the platform.
