A Walk Through Time

GAP is the oldest state or regional golf association in the country. It started courtesy of a friendly competition – the Team Matches – and has grown into the preeminent golf association in the country. Along the way, golf history has been made.

Presidents Council set for Waynesborough CC

  The 2007 Presidents Council is set for March 27 at Waynesborough Country Club.
  The fee for the day is $75 per person and includes seminars and lunch.
  Topics and Speakers follow:
  • Societal Trends Affecting the Club Industry. Mr. William P. McMahon will give a presentation on how major shifts in the trends of society are affecting club usage and membership. Mr. McMahon is Chairman of the McMahon Group, Inc., a firm that has consulted more than 1,000 private clubs throughout the world.
  • Club Documents: The Do's and Don'ts of Storing and Maintenance of Historical Documents. Many clubs through the Philadelphia region enjoy a long and rich history. However many clubs struggle with storing and maintaining their history. Bob Labbance and Patrick White of Notown Communications will discuss the proper way to organize, store, digitize and maintain your clubs important documents.
  • Setting Up Your Membership Replenishment Program. This "how to guide" will be presented by Rick Coyne, President of Club Mark Corporation and Executive Director of the Professional Club Marketing Association.
